  • Job Details
  • Position Summary: Provide technical assistance for selected diagnostic and interventional invasive procedures.
  • Use of hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
  • Scrub assist for all diagnostic and interventional procedures, including preparation and manipulation of catheters, guide-wires, and other devices.
  • Injection of contrast media and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician.
  • Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy.
    • Job Requirements
    • Graduate of AMA Approved School in Radiography
    • Registered by A.R.R.T./license by IEMA
    • BLS required
    • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Cath Lab Tech
    • Associate's Degree in Radiography (preferred)
    • ARRT Certified (Required)
    • IEMA Certified or willing to Obtain
      • Schedule Information
      • Flexibility in adjusting schedule to meet department needs.
      • Shares responsibility of overtime, on-call and necessary schedule changes with co-workers.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Operates all emergency equipment.
        • Assists with all procedures performed in the department, specifically, in the role of scrub assistant under the direct supervision of the procedural doctor.
        • Participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating guidelines/practices to ensure quality care and to provide effective, efficient department operation.
