Job Description:

A facility is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage. Great museums like Burpee Museum of Natural History and Discovery Center Museum fill Rockford, Illinois. Or find a tour to fill your time on assignment like the Anderson Japanese Garden, one of the top Japanese gardens in North America! Candidates must be Board Certified and licensed in Illinois to apply, with credentialing taking 60-90 days. The schedule runs from Monday at 7 AM to the following Monday at 7 AM. The locum will spend 2-3 half days per week in the clinic, seeing approximately 4-8 patients per day, while the rest of the time will be spent inpatient and performing 3-4 scheduled procedures daily. The role includes weeknight and weekend call, with 10-15 consults per day.
