Position Summary The Loan Servicing Intern will provide assistance to the Loan Operations Department with various recurring tasks as well as special projects. Primary Accountabilities

• Involved in several projects related to process automation, gaining hands-on experience with real-world initiatives.
• Apply existing skills while also learning new ones through direct involvement in projects.
• Shadowing during meetings, collaborating on tasks, and gradually taking on more responsibility as confidence is gained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). Position Qualifications Education/Experience:
  • The internship will run for Summer of 2025 beginning mid-May and ending early-August.
  • Able to work a 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Must reside local to Rockford, IL and report to the Rockford East State office.
  • Enrolled in a degree program with courses of study including Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field at a college or university with at least 2 years completed.
  • Technical proficiency is required due to projects focused on streamlining and automating processes.
  • Attention to detail in reviewing documentation and assisting with resource preparation to ensure accuracy.
  • Works well in team environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Teams.
