Job Description:
A company is looking for a Bioinformatics DevOps Architect -
Advanced Molecular Detection.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute whole-genome sequencing analysis and develop
custom bioinformatics pipelines
Lead the development and implementation of a cloud computing
architecture to enhance computational infrastructure
Provide technical assistance and updates on analytical results to
multidisciplinary teams
Required Qualifications:
PhD in bioinformatics, microbiology, computer science, or related
field
5+ years of experience in microbial and/or public health
bioinformatics
Experience with bioinformatic development of pipelines for
phylogenetic and comparative genomic analysis
At least two years of experience with cloud computing, specifically
AWS
Proficiency in a scripting/programming language such as Python or
R
