Job Description:
Position SummaryThe Sales Lead engages, converts, grows,
trucking and commercial company trip totals for the use of United
Bridge Partners (UBP) bridges across the portfolio of assets. This
position reports to the Revenue Director. You would be working for
the local location.General Duties
- Identify pipeline of trucking and commercial companies.
- Access and qualify growth opportunities with the trucking and
commercial segments.
- Gain commitments and convert trip opportunities from alternate
routes to UBP routes.
- Develop and share best practices for the local account managers
to leverage.
- Prioritize top trucking and commercial relationships that have
the ability to grow.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline that delivers new and consistent
traffic over the bridge.
- Establish processes and develop insightful analytics of
trucking activity related to the fleets of each trucking
company.
- Leverage UBP tools and programs to convert new business and
reduce the sales cycle timeline.Required Skills and Abilities
- Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience.
- Specific and measured results showing a track record of primary
demand growth.
- High level of analytical, organizational, and administrative
skills.
- Excellent communicator with strong written and oral
communications skills.
- Customer relationship building experience.
- Four-year degree preferred.
- Basic skill set managing a CRM and in Sales Navigator; also
proficient in Microsoft Office software applications.
- 3-5 years of prior industrial, trucking, transportation, and/or
logistics sales experience; managing a territory or customer
accounts is beneficial.
- Fluent in "trucking" language business, and contacts.
- Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance
and work schedule requirements.
- Proven ability to perform effectively on multiple projects
simultaneously with the capability to pivot with short notice,
while working in a fast-paced, flexible, entrepreneurial
environment.

- This role is a marketing facing role to gain new business. You
will think of yourself as a "hunter".
- The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $130,000 based on
location and will be commensurate with experience.
